Dear Parents/ Guardians,

This week we have been having so much fun celebrating Dr. Seuss! I truly enjoyed all the activities and taking a moment to remember all the life lessons from Dr. Seuss. Recently, 4th grade has taken part in a noteworthy activity! They took part in some challenging teamwork activities.

Teamwork is the process of working collaboratively with a group of people in order to achieve a goal. Teamwork means that people will try to cooperate, using their individual skills and providing constructive feedback, despite any personal conflict between individuals.

Students described what teamwork looks like, sounds like, and feels like. We also discussed why it is important. Teamwork is a skill students will have to use for the rest of their lives and it’s important to learn how to use it in their classroom. Students saw how we work together to help our falcons. Miss Buzzelli, Mrs. Reece, Miss Knight, I all came together to help plan and facilitate these activities.

Students participated in an icebreaker activity to help students learn what other students are interested in and what they have in common with each other. Students also got to find out all about their teachers in a guessing game involving fun facts about each teacher.

Kindly,

Miss Schneider
