Classroom Saint
saintOur classroom saint is Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton. Last Friday (8/28) was her birthday. This saint is special to me personally, as she was the saint I chose to guide me in my Confirmation in 8th grade. Since then I have found many connections to her in my life and I deeply admire her. She is the first American saint and created the first Catholic school. Her feast day is January 4th.

Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Prayer for Students
O God, You called Elizabeth Ann Seton to be an instrument of your loving mercy. Despite loss and sorrow, she was an example of hope and love. Inspire us with your Blessed Sacrament to live our life for others. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Teacher. Amen.

This is her seventh year teaching first grade and her third year teaching at St. Francis. Miss Hatfield is a member of St. Francis de Sales parish and feels blessed to be a part of this community.
