Happy Thursday, Falcon Families!

The winners of our Christmas card contest are Jack Varga, Ellen Kish and Maddie Goshe. The messaging inside of the cards was also created by Maddie Goshe. You can see which artwork belongs to each student by turning over the card.  We are so proud of these students and their creativity! These cards will be mailed to families in the coming weeks.

Here are some updates and reminders:

We are still searching for another employee to work part-time in our cafeteria. If you, or someone you know is interested, please contact me directly.

I pray you all have a wonderful weekend!

In Christ's Love,

Mrs. Dougherty

Dear Falcon Families,

Welcome to December! This a busy and exciting month for all. Please be sure to check our your child(ren)'s teacher pages to stay up-to-date with everything that is happening in individual classes.

This year students welcomed a special visitor to our school to help us celebrate Advent; Mary! Mary on the Mantel will give the students tasks of service and kindness to perform each day of Advent to help prepare our hearts and homes for Jesus. Please ask your child which task she assigned them today!

Please join us for Mass tomorrow at 9:00am. This will be our first school Mass in this season of Advent. Our 4th graders, as well as select 8th graders, will present Emmanuel's Promise. The schedule for the remaining weeks is listed below. We hope you'll join us!

Here are some updates and reminders:

  • Yearbooks for the 2021-22 school year are coming home today.
  • 5th-8th grade parents please click here to see a flyer for two events that students in these grade levels will be participating in for the month of December.
  • If you are able to volunteer in our Cafeteria during the month of December, please click here and sign up for a slot. Thanks in advance for your help!

Congratulations goes out to our latest group of Falcon Five award recipients. Way to Love God, Love Others, Work Hard, Serve Well and Be Kind!

Blessings,

Mrs. Dougherty

Emmanuel's Promise

Advent is just around the corner! This year we will celebrate Advent with Emmanuel's Promise as we did last year. Emmanuel’s Promise will be prayed prior to our Advent Masses celebrating the lighting of the Advent candle(s) with prayers. This will begin at 9:00am each Advent school Mass. You are invited to join us for Emmanuel’s Promise and/or Mass. Since we are only celebrating 3 Advent Masses as a school, some virtues will be doubled up.

Advent is a time to take a breath, pause, and allow the Holy Spirit to enter our souls as we wait with joyful anticipation. Keeping Advent will lead us to a more fulfilled celebration of the Nativity on Christmas.

The  prayers during Emmanuel’s Promise will focus on the Advent virtues for that week.

The 4 Advent Virtues- Week 1-Hope, Week 2-Love, Week 3 -Joy and Week 4-Peace.

Students in Kindergarten through Grade 4 will prepare and sing a song that reflects  Advent on their assigned week.  Students from grades 5-8 will lead the prayers and Advent candle lighting. I will send a document for you to list the students in your grade levels to lead these prayers.
