The before and after care program is only for St. Francis de Sales Students in grades PS-8 and will only be run on school days. If school is canceled, so is the before and after care program.
An afternoon snack will be provided. Children will be given quiet homework time, playtime, and free time during their stay.
There is a $20 non-refundable registration fee for each child.
Morning: $12 for 1st child, $5 for each additional sibling.
Afternoon: $12 for 1st child, $5 for each additional sibling.
This program is managed by Mrs. Roumfort (mrsroumfort@stfparishschool.org). Typically, AfterCare will take place in Miss Stecz’s fourth grade room on the second floor, which is near the morning drop off doors on Monday and Wednesday. Mrs. Speranzini will alternate Fridays with Mrs. Stevenson. AfterCare on Tuesday and Thursday will take place in Mrs. Roumfort’s second grade room on the second floor, which is near the morning drop off doors. BeforeCare will take place in Miss Papp’s room on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and will be with Mrs. Roumfort on Mondays and Miss Knight on Friday. Before school care hours are from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM, after school care hours are from 3:15 PM to 6:00 PM. This schedule is subject to change so please make sure you sign up for the REMIND app as discussed in the following paragraph so you are aware of which staff member is holding the service.
It is necessary to communicate when your child needs to attend before and after school care/ when they will be dropped off and picked up. In order to communicate effectively, Miss Robinson and the other before/after care staff will be using a smartphone messaging app called REMIND. After downloading the app, send the code @h9ff27 to the number 81010. This will allow you to join our before/after care group to communicate with the coordinators on when you will be using the program.
The drop off and pick up location for before and after school care is the car rider doors nearest the kindergarten hallway. We ask that you send a message using the remind app when you are here to drop off/ pick up your child.
