Principal's Message- November 10, 2022

November 10, 2022
Dear Falcon Families!

I hope your long weekend is off to a great start! It has been wonderful to connect with so many parents over the last two days.

Thank you so much to our parents who have completed the Parent Survey for our Accreditation process. If you have not had the opportunity to fill it out yet please click here. Upon completion please send a screenshot of your submission to Mrs. Dougherty and your child will receiving a homework pass to be used in the 22-23 school year. Our students will be taking a similar survey at the end of November.

Here are some updates and reminders:

  • Ski Club registrations are due by Monday, November 14. We are in need of 13 additional students in order to begin this club. Please email Mrs. Fantozziwith any questions. Click here to view the registration form.
  • Our next Marco's Pizza Night is Thursday, November 17. These funds will be used to purchase new decorations and materials for the Thanksgiving Feast. Last month's funds went to purchase new safety cones for our car rider line and recess area.

Our annual Eucharistic Devotions weekend will take place November 18-20 and will begin with an all school Mass on Friday, November 18. The students are learning "First Love" by Kari Jobe (but the Elle Limebear version) here at school as we prepare for this special time in our Parish.  We hope that our families will take a listen at home as well as we prepare to take that pause from the world as one in adoration of Jesus' true presence in the Eucharist.

On Tuesday, November 22, 2022, we will welcome grandparents and grandfriends for Grandparent's Day! We are so excited to bring back this wonderful tradition.

NEW this year: all students will participate in Grandparent's Day activities from 9am-11am rather than having two sessions. We will end the celebration with Mass at 11:00am. Grandparents are welcome to take their grandchild/ren home after Mass.

Any students returning to the building after Mass will need to pack a lunch as the cafeteria will not be serving lunch this day.  Please take a moment to fill out this form to RSVP for your child's grandparents/friends.

Also, if you are able to donate any items for this event, please view this sign up.

I pray you have a wonderful long weekend!

Blessings,

Mrs. Dougherty
