Dear Falcon Families,
Happy Thursday! Our littlest falcons Preschool enjoyed their Halloween festivities today. They were beyond adorable!
Please keep reading for information on tomorrow's celebrations for PK-8.
Halloween Parade
It is our St. Francis de Sales tradition to have our entire student body parade outside in their Halloween costumes at 1:30pm, before parties begin. All parents are invited to join us for the parade. Please arrive in the parking lot NO LATER than 1:00pm.Entrances will be blocked off after this in order to make our parking lot safe for all.
*Students will be changing into their costumes between 1:00p-1:30p*
Students should bring their costumes to school and will have time to change into them. They should arrive to school in MASS ATTIRE. All costumes must be Catholic school appropriate. Questionable costumes will be left up to the discretion of Administration and students will be asked to change back to Mass attire if a costume is deemed inappropriate. If you have a question about a costume please email me ASAP. Student Council will hold it's annual costume contest again this year.
Halloween Parties
Our Halloween parties will take place on Friday, October 28 from 1:45-2:45pm. Your child's teacher will also let you know what time to arrive if you are volunteering to help with the party.
*Parents who are helping with classroom parties are able to sign their children out directly following the parties. All other students will be dismissed using the typical car rider line procedures or by bus.*
Here are some updates and reminders:
Thanksgiving Lunch
We have an awesome tradition each year where our whole school gathers to enjoy a Thanksgiving Lunch together. Our all school Thanksgiving Lunch will take place on Thursday, November 17. This year we are in need of a volunteer coordinator to help gather volunteers to set up and serve the luncheon. If you are interested in taking on this very important role and keeping this tradition alive please reach out to me as soon as possible!
I pray you have a wonderful weekend!
Blessings,
Mrs. Dougherty
